Modern and elegant. There is no other way to describe this "Grand Cordon" Champagne, precious Brut proposed by G.H. Mumm. Elegant right from the bottle, finely decorated with the iconic red band that identifies all bottles from the historic House of Reims. Fresh and fruity, this NV Champagne is made from Chardonnay (30 percent), Pinot Noir (45 percent) and Pinot Meunier (25 percent) grapes from different crus in the region. The grapes, in keeping with tradition, are vinified separately to preserve the wide variety of aromas and flavors, and to give greater depth to the finished product, between 25 and 30 percent reserve wines from previous vintages are also added to the cuvée. The production process is long and complex. Every single step is essential to ensure the Cuvée's impeccable quality. In the glass, it has a beautiful golden yellow color. The nose smells of ripe fruit, with peach and apricot, hints of lychee and pineapple. In the mouth, however, it is an explosion of freshness. Excellent as an aperitif, to enjoy it at its best it should be paired with fish dishes, seafood or grilled fish.
