We use synthetic insulation not only for the performance benefits but also because we don't believe birds should suffer for our comfort's sake. PrimaLoft® Black Insulation RISE has a similar warmth-to-weight ratio as down and a wonderful soft feeling. Where this insulation really shines is in damp conditions. The PrimaLoft® Black Insulation RISE will still keep almost all of its warmth since it doesn't get wet even when the weather does.When should I use it:- With its minimalistic looks and cutting edge performance, Double Dunfri will be your go-to piece for any cold adventure.
