The specially developed lid has a recess that is precisely tailored to the size of the sous vide stick. You can now cook sous-vide with the lid closed. This reduces the energy consumption by up to 50% because less heat and water vapour escape and the stick, therefore, has to be reheated less often. This not only protects the wallet and the environment, but also the sous vide stick itself because it is less stressed due to the reduced number of heating cycles.
