The Nizza DOCG denomination represents the peak of excellence of Piedmontese Barbera. Michele Chiarlo produces this Barbera by carefully selecting the best grapes from the La Court estate. Searching out the best exposed rows, those capable of producing healthy and perfectly ripe bunches. It is no coincidence that the harvest is strictly manual and the selection of the right bunches is repeated again in the cellar, before moving on to the actual vinification phase. The result is a wine characterized by an intense ruby red colour. On the nose, notes of red fruit, ripe cherry, raspberry and sweet memories of tobacco. In the mouth it reveals itself to be a full-bodied wine, well-structured, round and above all very persistent.
