The valorisation of native Sicilian grape varieties is, for the Firriato winery, one of its main objectives. And thanks to this Jasmin, it does so (great one might say) once again. Zibibbo vinified in purity, with a very particular style. From a grape historically destined for the vinification of sweet wines, Firriato obtains an intriguing dry white wine, where the richness of the aromatic bouquet is evident, giving a very pleasant drinkability. IGT Terre Siciliane, Jasmin reveals a bouquet that recalls the fragrances and scents of spring flowers and savoury marine notes from the sea. The large temperature variations between day and night, typical for the Baglio Sorìa Estate, a few kilometres from Trapani, favour the development of the olfactory components. Jasmin - as its producers suggest - is a wine that invites conviviality and the joy of being together. Perfect right from the aperitif, it has the power to make us fly (at least with our imagination) to the Sicilian coast. This is why the suggestion is to bring it to the table by choosing a typical combination for the region. Excellent, for example, with a rich fish couscous.
