One of the famous Maison's most iconic Champagnes, 'R de Ruinart' is a great classic. The result of a balanced blend, always the same year after year, 'R de Ruinart' is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes with a small addition, around 3%, of Meunier. In the blend, about 25% reserve wines, stored in the cellar from previous vintages, are usually added to the vintage wines. This makes the final cuvée richer and more complex, resulting in a particularly pleasant Champagne, balanced in its components but above all fine. In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, notes of white-fleshed fruit, apricot, citrus fruits and a slight toastiness. The aromatic framework of this Champagne is further enhanced by classic notes of brioche and pastries.
