Rich Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the flat vineyards bordering the banks of the River Isonzo. It is from these grapes that Ascevi Luwa makes the wine it offers here. As always, the harvest is a decisive moment for the quality of the final wine. That is why, here too, the harvest is carried out strictly by hand, with careful selection of the bunches in the field so that only the best fruit reaches the cellar. The ripest ones, of course, but also the most intact and healthy ones. Everything is done with the utmost respect for the raw material. In this case, after vinification, the wine is left to rest for a few months, about a year, in oak barrels. This slow refinement ensures that it reaches the right level of complexity and pleasantness. In the glass it has a beautiful intense ruby red colour, tending to garnet. The nose is herbaceous, as is typical for the variety, with clear nuances of berries. In the mouth, on the other hand, it demonstrates good body, a discreet tannicity that does not, however, detract from a nice overall softness. Perfect in combination with grilled meats and roasts.
