The harvest is carried out as late as possible to allow the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. The strong temperature fluctuations, typical of Valtellina, give the Riserva La Gatta particularly intense, ample and delicate aromas. The complexity of the wine is also given by the richness of extracts, noble tannins and anthocyanins that the grapes release during the slow transformation. Valtellina Superiore DOCG, this interesting wine produced by Triacca is the son of the Lombardy winery. The Grumello sub-zone, between the municipalities of Sondrio and Montagna, has a vineyard extension of about 78 hectares. Its name derives from Grumello Castle, a 13th century fortress that dominates the valley. Among the Valtellina wines, Grumello is generally easier to drink and also lends itself to being drunk younger than Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) from other areas. However, this does not detract from the fact that it is a wine with good ageing potential. In the glass it has a beautiful ruby red colour of medium intensity tending towards garnet. The bouquet is subtle and intense, with nuances reminiscent of almonds. In the mouth, it is dry and velvety. Rich in fragrances, slightly tannic, savoury and harmonious. It ideally accompanies roasts and young cheeses.

Del Frate is a white wine produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the family's vineyards in the municipalities of Teglio and Bianzone. Classified as Alpi Retiche IGT, the grapes from which it is produced are harvested and stored for a few days in a cool environment to enhance their aromatic richness. After crushing, the must is kept for a few days at a temperature of 5°C to decant, and then half is put into small oak barrels and half into steel for the fermentation phase. The wine then remains on the lees until March, after which it is racked and bottled. Del Frate has an intense golden yellow colour. Its bouquet is reminiscent of peppers, apricots and tropical fruits, perfectly integrated in the wood. The palate is dense, suave and full-bodied. It pleasantly surprises with its persistence. Like all vigorous white wines, Del Frate goes well with hors d'oeuvres, risottos and medium-aged cheeses.
