In the glass, in spite of the low pressure of the bottles so typical for the Satèn style, the foam is abundant, generated by a very fine perlage that flows non-stop from the bottom of the glass. The colour is golden straw, while the scents recall rose, ripe citrus and a hint of noisette. The palate reveals a smooth and creamy wine, perfectly balanced between mature touches and fresh sensations.

We speak of Kretzer referring to rosé born from Lagrein grapes, a technique that was already widespread in the Middle Ages. The name "Kretzer" comes from the word "Kretze," a woven wicker basket in which the must was strained, to separate the juice from the skins. Today, production techniques have refined, of course. But the principle is still the same. It only takes a few hours of contact between must and skins to color the liquid just the right shade of pink. In this case, the Lagrein grapes come from vineyards in Bolzano, at 260 meters above sea level, with roots sinking into deep sandy soils of alluvial origin. In the winery, the technique used is the "salasso" method. About half of the grapes are pressed, while the other half of the must instead rests on the skins for a few hours before fermentation. Once the two parts are combined, the fermentation phase follows, in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Brilliant cherry pink in color, this rosé seduces with its fresh, playful aromas. A fruity bouquet, with cherry, raspberry and currant. In the mouth, however, it has a full structure, pleasant acidity and fine. The Muri-Gries house rosé, despite its pleasant drinkability, has the character and lingering finish of a red wine. Serve slightly chilled in combination with bruschetta, risotto and delicate fish dishes.

Grignolino, a typical red grape variety, is common on the hills of Monferrato, in Piedmont. In all probability its name derives from the dialectal word 'grignolo', meaning grape seed, the abundance of which in the berries gives a pleasant bitterish taste to both the grapes and the wine. A very demanding vine, not easy to grow. In the countryside, it requires the right soil composition and layout, while in the cellar it must be treated with white gloves. The final product, however, generally repays all this effort. To discover it in its most traditional version, Vinchio Vaglio offers this label, Le Nocche, whose name refers to a well-known hamlet in the municipality of Vinchio. Vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks, at the end of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to age for a few months, again in steel, before bottling. The colour is a clear ruby red, tending towards orange with the passage of time. The nose is richly fruity and vinous, with varietal notes of flowers. In the mouth it is fine, with good freshness and persistence. Dry, savoury and slightly tannic, this Piedmontese red is a true wine for the whole meal. Try it with richly flavoured dishes such as risotto with Castelmagno cheese or, for fans of typical recipes, with Finanziera. True magic.

In the Treviso dialect, the word 'serrai' means 'serraglio', i.e. the place where farmyard animals were once kept. This is Serrai Extra Dry, the result of green viticulture. The vineyard is located on the slopes of the Vidor hills, at a height of about 200 metres above sea level. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and the cold chain is strictly adhered to in order to safeguard the health of the grapes. Here, a special microclimate, characterised by strong temperature variations between day and night, favours optimal ripening of the grapes, giving the wine structure and complexity. 100% Nebbiolo, after manual harvesting, the bunches are pressed in vertical steel vats to begin alcoholic fermentation, which lasts 30-40 days, with maceration on the skins. In spring, the wine spontaneously undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then aged for between 18 and 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Transparent ruby colour with garnet hues, on the nose, it is clearly reminiscent of violets, rose hips, cloves and cinnamon, joined by intense notes of dark jam, resin and blond tobacco.
