It comes from a rigorous selection of the best grapes, from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. To be precise, those surrounding the beautiful St Pierre church, which dates back to the 12th century. Vineyards over 35 years old, 100% Chardonnay. Chablis, for those who may not know, is the northern limit of the Burgundy region, almost on the border with Champagne. The climate here is decidedly cool and the wines produced have a pleasantly mineral character. This excellent Chabils from Albert Pic is no exception. It has a beautiful pale yellow colour in the glass, with bright and brilliant reflections. On the nose, the aromas are reminiscent of tropical fruits. They are accompanied by citrus notes and slight hints of iodine and "pain brioche". In the mouth, however, the wine has a good body. Pleasantly mineral, it is one of the purest expressions of Chablis.
