The parish church of Rèmole is located in Sieci, east of Florence. It is a medieval Romanesque structure of ancient beauty, already documented before the year 1000. The Rèmole estates along the course of the Arno have always belonged to the ancestors of the Frescobaldi family. They were an important factory, among the largest in Tuscany, for the processing and marketing of wool. Rèmole Bianco, Toscana IGT, is characterised by a rich aromatic heritage and a pleasant freshness. It is made from Vermentino and Trebbiano grapes, and after processing it matures for 4 months in steel before meeting the bottle. Clear straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals an intense bouquet, with scents ranging from floral to fruity notes. It ranges from jasmine and hawthorn to notes of exotic fruit well balanced by hints of citrus. In the mouth it is fresh and sapid, with a medium body that makes it particularly suitable for pairing with fish dishes, pasta dishes and seafood risotto.
