Lightly pressing on the transmission button turns on the camera's exposure meter and starts autofocus detection.\n\n\nTo connect the ML-3, the receiver is inserted and locked into a camera's or Speedlight bracket's accessory or hot shoe and is then connected to the remote terminal on the camera with its remote cord. The camera is fired when the transmitter is pointed in the direction of the receiver's sensor and the transmit button is pushed.
