At the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine begins a long period of ageing in the cellar, which ends with bottling and final release. Ruby red with violet hues, Fattoria Le Maestrelle's nose reveals itself to be intense and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit, well combined with sensations of juniper berries, mint, vanilla and coffee. In the mouth it is balanced, soft and savoury, with a complex finish reminiscent of the notes perceived on the nose. It is the right wine to accompany meat-based preparations, savoury dishes, even a lot, or simple platters of cold meats and traditional cheeses. Truly a pleasantly versatile red.
