This is Rue 333, Taurasi DOCG, the top in terms of quality when it comes to reds made from Aglianico grapes, the noblest of the noble red grape varieties of our southern Italy. In this case we are talking about a wine produced from grapes harvested in the vineyards of Nativ, which are rooted in volcanic soils. The grapes are harvested in October, when the heat and sun of the summer season have allowed the bunches to reach perfect aromatic and phenolic ripeness. In the cellar, cold pre-maceration, followed by about 20 days' maceration of the skins. Fermentation with selected yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques. The same containers are then chosen for the maturation phase. This is a beautiful red wine with a brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose the intense notes of ripe fruit, prepare whoever takes the first sip. In the mouth you find a wine characterized by a nice harmonious and velvety taste, with the characteristic notes of Maiatica cherry, typical of the Agro Taurasino valley, and liquorice. A wine of good body and important structure, it requires a combination with red meats or game. It is also perfect with first courses based on meat sauces, such as pappardelle with wild boar ragout.

On the label it is indicated as Campania Bianco IGT. Its name, "Suadens", has been carefully selected by the managers of the Nativ winery to represent the persuasive character of this wine. It is the result of an interesting project to promote the native grape varieties of Irpinia and the typical local fruit grown exclusively in this area. Suadens Bianco, in particular, is made from a superbly harmonious blend of Fiano, Greco and Falanghina grapes. It's hard to imagine a trio more representative of the region and the territory. Harvesting takes place in September, when the grapes have reached the right degree of ripeness, perfect balance of aromas and natural freshness. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using selected strains of yeast. At the end of the transformation process, the wine is refined in stainless steel tanks, with a brief passage in barriques lasting 6 months. This is a fresh and fruity wine, with notes of Limoncella apple, Annurca apple and Bellella peach from Melito Irpino. A super versatile wine, it is easily paired with very different dishes. Excellent, for example, when served with a board of medium-aged cheeses, it accompanies both white meat dishes and shellfish.

Suadens Rosso, Campania Rosso IGT, proposed here by Nativ, owes its name to its persuasive character. It constitutes a project aimed at the valorisation of the indigenous grape varieties of Irpinia, but also of the typical local fruit grown exclusively in this area. Suadens Rosso comes from a blend of Aglianico, Piedirosso and Sciascinoso, ancient and noble grapes that have always been present on the hills of Irpinia. The harvest takes place in October, when all the grapes have reached perfect ripeness, thanks to the many hours of sunshine and the warmth of summer days. The vinification phase begins with the maceration of the whole bunches, which are then cold fermented with selected yeasts. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place and the wine is briefly aged in barriques for about 6 months. The result is a pleasantly fresh and fruity wine. But also well structured, with slight balsamic notes. Suadens Rosso is a particularly versatile wine. It goes well with soft cheeses, white meats, game, soups and stews.
