Another great wine from the territory. A Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, a pure-blooded Marche wine, produced from pure Lacrima grapes by Azienda Mancinelli. Optimally exposed vineyards guarantee perfect ripening of the grapes, which are harvested by hand, selecting only the best bunches. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the cellar to be processed within a few hours. Vinification is traditional, with a short fermentation in contact with the skins for about 2 or 3 days. The temperature of the vats is then lowered and the classic white vinification is carried out. Maturation in steel vats does not alter the richness of the original varietal, which thus has the opportunity to reveal its full potential. Ruby red with pronounced purple hues, the nose is astonishing for its evident notes of roses and violets, accompanied by hints of berries that are still well ripe. In the mouth it is dry, of medium freshness, with tannins that are present but not intrusive. Intense and with good persistence, it is a wine that requires an important pairing. Excellent with game or cured meats, it can also accompany fish soups with a strong flavour.

Maybe it's just suggestion. Or maybe it really is. The fact is that when the nose gets close to the glass, the "fruit sensation" is really intense. This Lacrima di Morro D'Alba DOC proposed by Mancinelli, comes from a pure vinification of the indigenous clone of Morro d'Alba Lacrima grapes. Super careful processing of the grapes that have reached full ripeness, the process begins with a fast carbonic maceration to extract the rich fruity component. This is followed by refinement in steel which helps to enhance the rich varietal. In the glass it has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose is striking for the fragrance of its aromas, dominated by red and dark fruit, well ripe but still crunchy. To these are added hints of rose and violet, giving complexity and depth to this red wine of the territory. In the mouth it is soft, full-bodied and persistent. A simple wine, but not a trivial one, it is ideal to accompany the whole meal with pleasure. Excellent from appetizers to meat-based main courses. It is also perfect with vegetarian dishes.

You can't think of Le Marche, its sea and its wonderful hills without thinking of the most typical wine of these parts. At least for us true enthusiasts. So here we are with Verdicchio, the good one, the one that comes from the restricted area of Castelli di Jesi. In this case, Mancinelli offers it in a Classic and a Superior version. The word Classica indicates the historicity of the vineyards, located in the oldest and most typical area of the denomination. The word Superiore, on the other hand, refers to the category of this wine, which is superior to the standard also by virtue of a slightly higher alcohol content. It is the result of a careful selection of the grapes during the harvest and a low temperature fermentation in steel. The same containers are also used for the rapid refinement before resting in the bottle. Intense straw yellow with golden hues, this wine has an evident bouquet of flowers and fruit. In the mouth it is fresh, dry, with delicate notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The finish is typical, with a distinct hint of bitter almond. A white wine to be served chilled as an aperitif. Excellent with grilled fish or fried fish. For an accompaniment to the territory, baccalì all'anconetana is simply... the death of it!
