The parish church of Rèmole is located in Sieci, east of Florence. It is a medieval Romanesque structure of ancient beauty, already documented before the year 1000. The Rèmole estates along the course of the Arno have always belonged to the ancestors of the Frescobaldi family. They were an important factory, among the largest in Tuscany, for the processing and marketing of wool. Rèmole Rosso, Toscana IGT, is a wine born of the long winemaking tradition of the Frescobaldi family. Made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it is characterised by pleasantness and balance due to a period of refinement in wood, which also gives it structure and harmony. In the glass it is characterised by a beautiful red-purple colour with violet reflections. The nose has wonderful fruity notes reminiscent of blackberry, red and blackcurrant. Aromas that blend with a wonderful spiciness reminiscent in particular of black pepper. In the mouth, however, it is fresh, balanced and velvety, with delicate fruity hints on the finish.
