Beginners can rely on the automatic mode while experienced brewers can use the manual mode to try out their own recipes. The device's memory function allows you to save up to nine recipes. The temperature, output and brewing duration (setting timer from 0 to 180 min) are pre-set for each program. All process phases and set parameters are clearly displayed on the LCD display. For optimum heat distribution (selectable between 10 °C and 100 °C), the home brewing mash tun is equipped with two heating elements with a total output of 2,500 W. A magnetic drive pump mixes the mash and later the first wort during the rest period. The false bottom prevents the mash from sticking to the bottom. At the end of the brewing process, the beer wort can easily be decanted into a fermentation container with the aid of the drain tap with integrated filter.
