Alma Assemblage 1 is harmony. Between nature, tradition and innovation. Son of Franciacorta, a unique land, the ideal habitat for viticulture. It is no coincidence that its name has always evoked quality and prestige. Already in the Middle Ages, in fact, this area was renowned for its wines. Today, Franciacorta DOCG is one of the most prestigious Italian appellations for classic method sparkling wines. And Bellavista represents, without fear of contradiction, a true benchmark for the area. Alma Assemblage 1 is a blend of Chardonnay (86%), Pinot Noir (13%) and a very small portion of Pinot Blanc. Carefully selected grapes from 60 estate vineyards. Vineyards with an average age of 27-28 years that ensure rich and complex grapes. Harvested by hand in small 13 kg crates, once in the cellar the grapes are processed within a few hours. The flower must is separated into three fractions, ensuring only the best for Alma. The cuvée is complemented by wines that are aged in 32% oak, giving structure and depth. After drawing, the wine matures on the lees for 30 months, with a manual remuage that perfects each bottle. To the eye, Assemblage 1 surprises with its beautiful bright yellow colour and fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, the delicate bouquet of Mediterranean flowers intertwines with lively citrus notes, providing freshness and complexity. In the mouth, freshness combines with an enveloping creaminess, with a mineral finish that leaves an elegant and memorable impression. Perfect throughout the meal, Alma Assemblage 1 goes beautifully with fish dishes, shellfish, creamy risottos or soft cheeses.
