Songbird Supergrip Wax Fascial Release Wax: Super Grip provides an even stronger grip than our classic Fascial Release Wax. Fascial Release Wax: Super Grip was formulated after many requests from therapists wanting an even stronger grip than our classic Fascial Release Wax. It contains exactly the same ingredients, but is designed to have a much stronger grip. Indeed, it almost feels like a solid block of beeswax at first! It was given the thumbs up by the therapists who tested it out for us, many of whom couldn't wait to use it in their Fascial and Myofascial Release work. In terms of Grip, it is at the extreme end of our Grip Chart and scores a round 10. Very little oil is left after treatment, and the working plateau starts right from the beginning of application. Needless to say, the slip is very limited and this is a product which is not designed for general massage. Super easy to apply and readily absorbed into the skin to give a smooth and soft feel as a result of moisturisation and hydration. The wax is specially formulated to contain a unique blend of natural beeswax and essential oils. The Songbird sports wax is used extensively for both sports and general maintenance massage. Used within professional football, rugby, cricket, swimming, athletics and other physiotherapy injury treatment. The wax has a characteristic lemony - leathery type scent which helps to invigorate both the body and mind. The essential oils in this formula are Manuka (Leptospermum scoperium) (from the same plant as Manuka honey) and Lemon (Citrus limonum). Calendula Paste and Hypericum Infused Oil. Please note from 2021, Songbird have switched to the 100g cardboard Ecotubs, and the 100g plastic tubs have been phased out. These are bespoke, especially for Songbird, and to the best of their knowledge are a first for the sector. They are made almost entirely of a special grease resistant cardboard and are recyclable and biodegradable. However, there is approximately 1.5g of PVA glue which holds the tub together, so we cannot claim 100% compostability. We are looking at a compostable glue, but there is nothing on the market yet.
